Weigh in!

Well I lost 500gms. Not bad considering I gave in to chocolate cravings the last 2 nights. I didnt journal last night either. I can see the motivation waning. I need to keep going. Tomorrow is my birthday and Im going for High Tea with my Mum and daughter. Tonight we are having fish and chips with some friends. So many eating challenges.
Ok Im off for a walk!

I know I havent been posting my journal but I have been writing it down and keeping to my points since Monday. Its just that I havent had time!
I just took a before pic for my WW yahoo group. Gross!!! Im changing the outfit I have on today to something to cover the rolls!! lol

Birthday Celebrations! Oh dear....

So I had my birthday weekend away even though its not til next week. Saturday I had 31 points in total!! With Nachos for dinner and a pavlova dessert that killed it. I went over by 3.5. Today I had 27 points and that was spot on my allowance and my exercise points. Both days I went for an hour long walk. They were much more higher intensity walks than I am used to aswell. Both were dirt tracks and hiking up hills. My whole lower half is sore!
So now that that is over its time to move on to next week. A fresh start in just 22 minutes. Tonight is my nightshift. Im thinking I might have breakfast on one of my last breaks. Say about 5am. But Il see how Im feeling. I had a big late lunch out so wasnt hungry for dinner tonight. I guess that will mean I will be hungry later on.
All in all Im pretty happy with the weekend. Despite eating out twice and having dessert I still managed to track everything and really didnt go to far over my points. Especially considering all the exercise I did during the week and the extra points I didnt use.

600grams...

I just got back from my meeting and I lost 600gms! I was hoping for more like 1kg but I guess I have been on programme for just 4 days so 600grams is pretty good. Weight Watchers say you will lose between 500gms-1kg a week. So Im right on track.
This weekend my husband and I are celebrating my birthday. Its not til next Saturday but we have friends visiting next week. Tomorrow morning we leave the kids with Mum and we are going for a big hike around Picton. Then we are spending the night on my parents yacht. We will leave it berthed at the marina and have dinner at the restaurant at Waikawa Bay. Im thinking all the exercise will help with the eating out! Todays booklet at WW was about Eating out so Im going to have a read of that today.
I a short yoga set this morning and am not going for a walk. I figure Ive walked everyday this week and if I plan a big walk for tomorrow I really need to rest today.

Weigh in tomorrow!

So today I went to yoga at 530am for 90mins. When I came home I got the kids organised and walked to preschool. I need to measure it again but Im pretty sure its 6km. So I earned 5.5 bonus points. Pretty happy with that!
Breakfast = Apricot and Almond Porridge 4
Lunch = Soy and Linseed Bread 1.5 Tuna 1 Edam Cheese 2.5 Grapes .5
Dinners = Ham and Pineapple Calzone (forgot to put in the cheese!) 5 WW White chocolate dessert 2.5

Total points earned = 5.5
Total points saved = 10.5!!!
I got a Satisfaction Kit emailed to me today from the lifetime panel so am doing a few of the activities. One was a quiz about filling foods and I got 11 out of 12 so that was good. The second is to journal a day on ordinary points plan and a day on the satisfaction plan and document the difference. I printed off the sheet to start that tomorrow. The last one is to try out one of the recipes or adapt an old recipe to suit the satisfaction plan. I have already tried the Spag Bol on the Faststart so will be able to report back on that.
Anyway weigh in is tomorrow at 10am. Im really looking forward to seeing how I get on as I know I have lost. Yay!!

We took the kids strawberry picking today which was so much fun. I ate a whole bunch of strawberries along the way. The good thing is its such a healthy and yummy snack. I think we will try and go a few more times before the season is over.
Also Im so pleased with myself that Ive kept up a daily yoga practice for the last 4 days. It was one of my New Years resolutions! Il be going to class on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings. Tomorrows class is at 530am. EEk! Ive done it for the last 2 weeks and so far have found it a great way to start the day. I dont now how well it will go in winter though....

Still going!

So Im still on programme and feeling really good! I had Yoga last night and then watched TV with my husband so forgot to transfer my journal to here. I sent him out to get nappies and he came back with a bag of lollies aswell! He offered me some and I said no. Yay! That was my biggest challenge yesterday.

So I stuck to plan today and also did a 45min walk this evening. Not bad! Here is my journal:

Time to begin!

Ok so my daughters party is over and done with and Im ready to get going. I want to lose 12kgs in 12 weeks. That means losing a kg a week til 10th April. Wish me luck!

EEEEKKKK!!!!!

Weight = 68kgs
I gained 300gms. I did get up this morning and take the kids for a walk so Im really pleased about that. On the other hand I know that I need to work harder on the food front. I have decided to post my food journal on here to try and hold myself accountable. Tomorrow will be the challenge this week so I hope I can get through the birthday party without bloowing out too much. Wish me luck!

Welcome to me on the Eve of Weigh-in!

Well this is my first post. Im weighing in at WW tomorrow after a not so good week. Today was my daughters 4th birthday and we had fish and chips for tea at her request.
I started back at WW in December to try and keep myslef honest over christmas. Still managed to gain a bit but overall Im 900grams less than when I started. That was 6 weeks ago! Its time to knuckle down and get back into it.
Challenges this week are my daughters birthday party on Saturday. Although next week she goes back to preschool and our lives will be back to normal. So Im REALLY looking forward to monday and no more excuses.
